The FSL FIRST user guide (https://fsl.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/fsl/fslwiki/FIRST/UserGuide) provides an example for loop for usage with multiple subjects and/or groups.
My question concerns the naming convention for group name and subject number: e.g. con01.nii, con02.nii etc. I assume that the for loop function, like the for loop functions I'm familiar with, will only accept a few consistent characters to identify the group followed by unique digits identifying each subject (e.g. mci01.nii, mci02.nii); that a more complex group and subject name scheme such as ad01_0335_06_2a.nii, ad02_0335_06_2b.nii, etc. would not be recognized and generate an error. Is this correct?
