City College Plymouth is seeking to appoint a new External Examiner for a number of shared modules across our Engineering Suite. The main courses covered are FdSc Marine Engineering, FdSc Naval Architecture, FdSc Marine Autonomous Vehicles and FdSc Mechanical Engineering

The role oversees 9 level 4 modules (180 credits);

Engineering Mathematics
Engineering Science
Engineering Materials
CAD Techniques and Design
Naval Architecture
Management Techniques x 3
Applications of Pneumatics and Hydraulics

and 10 level 5 modules (200 credits);

Engineering Science 2
Advanced CAD and FEA
Engineering Design
Composite Materials for the Marien Industry
Engine Technology and Marine Propulsion Systems
Project
Fluid mechanics and CFD
Thermo and Fluids
Engine Technology and Auxiliary Systems
Further Naval Architecture & Regulatory Framework
