Drs. Kathryn Cullen and Bonnie Klimes-Dougan are seeking to fill a neuroimaging-focused postdoc position in the Research on Adolescent Depression Laboratory. The RAD Lab is a federally-funded research team focused on understanding the neurobiology of depression, self-injury and suicide risk in adolescents, and advancing treatment in these areas. The candidate should be passionate about advancing knowledge in the area of adolescent depression and suicide risk, have completed an advanced degree (PhD or equivalent) in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, or a related field. The candidate should have significant experience and publication record in the area of neuroimaging data analysis, strong technical and mathematical capabilities, ability to learn rapidly-evolving new systems, strong written and oral communication skills, and excellent cognitive skills in analysis, problem solving and identifying creative solutions. Finally, the candidate should have a strong personal commitment to accelerating data analyses in the RAD Lab to achieve our mission of rapid advancement of knowledge capable of alleviating suffering of adolescents and families. This personal commitment should set the tone for students in the lab, providing an environment of growth, productivity and a shared sense of accomplishment and importance of the mission. The preferred candidate will have a strong track record in studying neuroscience of depression or other mood disorders, suicidal behavior, and/or self-injury, especially in adolescents.

• Oversee and coordinate all neuroimaging analyses conducted in the RAD Lab
• Independently analyze and interpret complex, multi-dimensional data using advanced statistical and machine learning analyses
• Monitor quality of neuroimaging data collected in RAD Lab studies
• Program cognitive tasks and analysis methods
• Monitor quality of neuroimaging data collection
• Manage data storage and help refine database practices
• Guide and inspire undergraduate and graduate students
• Connect with other labs / mentors to advance our knowledge and capabilities
