MeCCSA's Postgraduate Network is looking for a new member to join our Committee in the role of Editor of our postgraduate journal Networking Knowledge.
Networking Knowledge provides a platform for postgraduate and early career researchers to publish work as well as gain experience in all aspects of the peer review system. The journal features specially-themed sections that are proposed by guest editors, as well as inviting individual articles on any of MeCCSA's subject areas.
The journal Editor oversees all aspects of this process, from seeking and selecting proposals from prospective guest editors, sending submitted articles out for peer review, supporting guest editors in the editing of drafts and preparing final proofs for publication. As with all positions within the PGN, this is a voluntary position.
A full description of the role can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DStZ6H0tk1nO1-xHpKl1_iMEegzwNdGoEYdyql56_LI/edit?usp=sharing

The Postgraduate Network Committee is comprised of postgraduate students (both Masters and Doctorate levels) based at universities across the UK. Serving on the PGN Committee includes a time commitment made by those who put themselves forward for election. Work carried out by the PGN Committee is mostly done remotely (via email, Skype, etc.), though the Committee is expected to attend the Annual General Meeting at our PGN conference (usually held in July), as well as having a presence at the annual MeCCSA conference (usually held in January).

We look forward to receiving your applications and welcoming a new member to our passionate team.
