We're quite involved in QI in various forms. My knowledge specialists are on several service development groups in both the acute and mental health trusts and act as knowledge portals, answering questions and feeding in new information/best practice into the groups.
Our acute trust has a Clinical Academic Pathway programme which allows nurses and AHPs to take time out for research & QI. We provide training and project support for them.
Our acute trust uses Kaizen methodology for QI and the knowledge specialists serving that trust are all trained to yellow belt practitioner level. As well as supporting projects, we maintain a database of them to support corporate learning.

Hello
Does anyone have any examples of collaborations/co-operative working between libraries or research departments and quality improvement departments to jointly support QI projects within a health trust? ie. promoting one another, offering joint training sessions etc. I have one good example from Doncaster and Bassetlaw but would appreciate any others. Thanks in advance to you all.
