Hi all,
I'm soliciting ideas for a new experiment, mu3e, that might one day
become a self-standing VO.
Does anyone have suggestions for how this experiment should write and
read data files on (say) site DPMs with DOME? SRM is gone (or going)
from Liverpool now.
What are the pros/cons of the remaining protocols?
Also, what is the consensus on how smaller experiments should share
storage? These guys will need a few TB only to start up.
Later they'll need more. What's the best thing to tell them? Anybody
got any tips?
Cheers,
Ste
