Centre for Statistical Methodology (CSM) Symposium: Quantitative Approaches to Personalised Medicine: Some Contrasting Perspectives
Join us on 12th November 2019 for our CSM Symposium! Our speakers will address the concerns raised by moves to personalise medicine. The issues covered will include:
1. Challenges for the life sciences industry when targeting new therapies.
2. New statistical methods for personalising treatment choices.
3. The potential and pitfalls of machine learning in the age of large-scale electronic health data.
4. The contributions that statisticians, trialists, epidemiologists and economists can make to how regulators, reimbursement agencies and clinicians personalise treatment choices.

The cost of the symposium is £50 (for attendees from the private sector) and £25 (for those from the public sector). The Symposium is free for PhD students.
