Applications are invited for a Data Analyst to work with the Neonatal Data Analysis Unit within the Neonatal Medicine Research Group led by Professor Neena Modi.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The principal purpose of the post is to undertake analysis of grant funded research projects including the March of Dimes Imperial European Prematurity Research Centre https://www.imperial.ac.uk/news/185167/imperial-scientists-join-fight-prevent-premature/maintain You will also be involved in the development of the National Neonatal Research Database and provide data management and analytical support to the work of the Neonatal Data Analysis Unit. The National Neonatal Research Database is a widely used resource for research, bench-marking, quality improvement, and audit, including the National Neonatal Audit Programme. This post is ideal for a self-motivated person and offers opportunities for career development.
Essential requirements:
Prior experience in data management and analyses is essential as is knowledge of statistical software packages and programming. Experience of health services research and health care databases would be highly advantageous.
You should hold a relevant BSc/MSc or equivalent degree and have substantial experience in data management.
Further Information:
This is a full-time, two-year post although applications for the role on a part-time basis will also be considered.
