Dear Hamzah,



This is definitely something specific to Catalina. One thing I don't

understand is that you still have the issue after compiling the MEX

files yourself. I was asking how you downloaded and unzipped SPM as, as

you can see in your screenshot, your system knows that Safari was used

as well as the website where the library comes from, such that the file

is quarantined.



Can you try to do this in a terminal in the SPM directory as an attempt

to remove the quarantine flag:

  xattr -d com.apple.quarantine spm_bsplinc.mexmaci64



Otherwise it seems that it might be possible to disable this whole

verification with:

  sudo spctl --master-disable
