Dear all,
The last handful of tickets are available for Communicate 2019 - we
are expecting to sell out by the end of this week. If your role
involves communicating environmental issues to public audiences, have
a look at this year's programme at www.communicatenow.org.uk
Communicate 2019 : Riding Waves, Changing Worlds
Communicate conference will return to Bristol Zoo Gardens on 12th and
13th November bringing together a dynamic group of speakers from
across academia, media, business and the environment sector for this
year's packed programme.
Communicate is the annual conference for environmental communication
professionals, running each year since 2004. This unique event enables
speakers and delegates to share their views and the cutting edge
resources available to get environmental messages across the public.
This year’s theme “Riding waves, changing worlds” responds to the
emergence of powerful decentralised social movements and mainstream
focus on environmental issues. And will ask, what does the changing
nature of environmental communications mean for us as a sector? With a
wave of growing support to protect nature and the planet, are we as
environmental communicators still providing coherent calls for action?
