Dear MDN Members:
Please consider attending and presenting a contributed talk at the March meeting of the American Physical Society in the Division of Chemical Physics (DCP). The meeting takes place March 2 – 6, 2020, in Denver, CO. The abstract submission deadline is approach fast: Friday, October 25, 2019.
The Focus Sessions (and organizers) are listed below, or see the DCP program online (https://www.aps.org/units/dcp/meetings/symposia20.cfm).
• Electronic-Vibrational Coupling in Light Harvesting (Jacob Krich & David Jonas)
• Ultrafast Spectroscopies and Coherent Phenomena in the X-ray Domain (Shaul Mukamel and Michael Schuurman)
• Coherent Nonlinear Optical Microscopy (Adrian Pegoraro and Marcus Cicerone)
• Water Dynamics in Different Environments: Experiment and Theory (Mischa Bonn and Teresa Head-Gordon)
• Density Functional Theory and Beyond (Neepa Maita and Kieron Burke)
• The Chemical Physics of Molecular Polaritons (Joel Yuen Zhou and Wei Xiong)
If your research falls outside these six focus sessions, we encourage you to submit your talk under the standard sorting categories, where section 05 is Chemical Physics (https://www.aps.org/meetings/march/categories.cfm).
Don’t miss the October 25, 2019 deadline for abstract submission.
Looking forward to seeing you in Denver in March,
