Bridgwater and Taunton College are currently recruiting an Institutional Process Panel Member for our FD and BA (Hons) Fine Art revalidation event in 2019-20.
The Fine Art programme suite is delivered at our Taunton Campus in Somerset. Panel Members will take part in both the preliminary meeting organised by the College and also the final validation event organised by The Open University (our validating partner).
The successful applicants will be required to start as soon as possible. You must not have had any formal links with the College or the Open University within the last five years. You must have previous internal/external examining experience along with relevant academic and/or professional qualifications to at least the level of a BA (Hons) Degree. You should also hold a current academic teaching role within Higher Education in order to be able to reflect on academic standards in the context of Higher Education.
We will agree a mutually convenient date with you for the preliminary meeting (ideally around November to December 2019).
The final revalidation event date is: 24-25 February 2020. The event takes place over two days.
You will be paid a set fee, accommodation will be provided for the overnight stay for the final validation event, and you will be reimbursed for additional travel and subsistence expenses.
