The Leonard Cheshire Archive is currently looking for a Audacity/Podcast Online Trainer.
The Archive has been awarded a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to digitise the sound archive. This archive relates to the history of the Leonard Cheshire Charity, and the history of Group Captain Leonard Cheshire himself. We are recruiting 10 volunteers to help transcribe the recordings, making them accessible to all potential audiences.
We would also like to create podcast episodes relating to 5 minute ‘snippets’ of the material. Ideally, the volunteers would edit, create and host these podcasts. However, we would like to provide them with the relevant training in using audacity to edit the sound files, and ‘how to podcast’. We would like this training to be provided online through a VLE system such as Moodle.
