The Richard J Boys memorial workshop is a special meeting, hosted by
Newcastle University, to celebrate the life and work of Professor Richard
Boys, who was a huge presence within the School of Mathematics, Statistics
and Physics until his untimely death in March 2019. The workshop will take
place on Tuesday 16 June 2020 at Newcastle University.
The programme includes some of Richard's collaborators and peers - Kerrie
Mengersen, Peter Green, Nial Friel, Kevin Glazebrook, Dave Woods and Darren
Wilkinson - who will give talks on areas in which Richard worked, such as
statistical issues in computational and stochastic systems biology and
inference for partially observed stochastic processes.
