The Department of Biostatistics at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital invites applications for three faculty positions at the Assistant Member (Professor) or Associate Member (Professor) level depending upon qualifications and experience. The selected candidate will be expected to have continued independent statistical research motivated by biomedical collaborations.
We are looking for candidates with research interests in a wide variety of areas that include Survival Analysis, Longitudinal Data Analysis, Multivariate Analysis, Clinical Trial Designs with emphasis on Early Phase Designs or Immunotherapy Trials, and High Dimensional/Machine Learning data analytic approaches with a focus towards precision medicine and/or medical surveillance. The candidates must be committed to collaborative research with clinical investigators. Candidates must have a PhD in Biostatistics or Statistics and a record of peer-reviewed publications showing evidence of (for Assistant Member, a potential of) productive methodological research. Applicants must also demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills, have interest in biomedical collaborations and be proficient in computing.
The Department consists of fourteen faculty positions, two post-doctoral fellows, twenty-six master's level biostatisticians, eight computer scientists and several administrative staff. Compensation and benefits are very competitive and commensurate with experience.
