Hi Theresa,
Yes, we have 5 too. Good to know we're on the same page as others re monthly QC.
We're not currently connected, however, we are waiting for Server space to install Pocelerator, which the analysers will then be connected to, and results will be uploaded.
I wasn't involved last year, but I'm told they had a book by the analyser, where results were written in real time, and then transcribed to PPM+ later on. I think one of the wards ordered themselves a stamp, so they could just tick a positive or negative box, but others just stuck patient ID stickers in the book, and wrote the results beside them.
So this year I've just made an Excel spreadsheet, which I'm going to email out to the wards, then they could just print a load and keep them in a ring binder by the analyser. I can email you a copy if that's useful to you?
Thank you,
Emma.

Hi Emma,
We have the Liat and last season just ran QC with new lots. This time POCT are more involved and we will be running QC monthly on all 5 of our devices.
Can I ask if your devices are connected? If not how do you deal with the results?
Theresa
