Subject: [ccpem] MRC to MTZ in CCPEM
Dear CCPEM users.
I am trying to change the B-factor of my map by sharpening and blurring it with default values ranging from +200 to - 200 using MRCtoMTZ tool in CCPEM. I am providing the map in the MRC format and resolution range in the input. The program finishes smoothly and gives me "starting_map.mtz" as an output. But when I am trying to open this in Coot it is not opening up. Am I missing something or doing something wrong?. As it appears I should be able to open the map with different sharpening and blurring values by clicking on each map individually in the display manager. But nothing is coming up. Do I need to change the format or I have done something wrong?
What I am trying to see is my map with different B-factors and my PDB in the Coot by just by clicking different map, one at a time to see the best fit in the display manager.
Or I should run RefMac with different B-factor values and see the results individually in Coot. It is taking lots of time though.
Your suggestions are much appreciated.
