Dear Colleagues,
There is an open 2-year postdoc position available in the group of Assoc. Prof. Marcel Mudrich at Aarhus University, Denmark. The project aims at studying secondary ionization processes in biomolecules and tailored complexes thereof, such as intermolecular correlated decay and dissociative electron attachment. We will use EUV synchrotron radiation as well as ultrashort lasers in combination with electron and ion imaging. Some experience with molecular or cluster beams, synchrotron spectroscopy, laser spectroscopy, imaging detectors, data analysis and numerical simulations would be beneficial.
Aarhus University is a word-wide high-ranking research-oriented university, and the Department of Physics and Astronomy offers an excellent research environment. Aarhus is the 2nd largest city of Denmark located at the coast of the Baltic Sea. It is characterized by the many students and a buzzing cultural life.
I would be grateful if you could forward the ad to any interested candidates.
Best regards,
Marcel
