Bridgwater and Taunton College are currently recruiting Institutional Process Panel Members for two of our revalidation events in 2019-20. These are:

1)	FD and BA (Hons) Fine Art
2)	FD and BA (Hons) Textiles and Surface Design and FD and BA (Hons) Fashion Design

These degree programmes are delivered at our Taunton Campus in Somerset. Panel Members will take part in both the preliminary meeting organised by the College and also the final validation event organised by The Open University (our validating partner). 

The successful applicants will be required to start in October 2019. You must not have had any formal links with Bridgwater College/Somerset College or the Open University within the last five years.  

You must have previous internal/external examining experience along with relevant academic and/or professional qualifications to at least the level of a BA (Hons) Degree. You should also hold a current academic teaching role within Higher Education in order to be able to reflect on academic standards in the context of Higher Education.

We will agree a mutually convenient date with you for the preliminary meeting (ideally around October to December 2019).

The final revalidation event dates are:
1)	Fine Art. 24 and 25 February 2020.
2)	Textiles and Fashion. 16 and 17 March 2020.

Please do not apply for either role if you are unable to attend these final revalidation event dates. Both events take place over two days. 

You will be paid a set fee, accommodation will be provided for the overnight stay for the final validation event, and you will be reimbursed for additional travel and subsistence expenses.
