Hello All,
With Clearing behind us and the new term getting into full swing, perhaps our thoughts turn to our eduroam deployments? So here's just a reminder of our regular eduroam Online clinic : The monthly ‘first Tuesday of the month’ eduroam online clinic is being held on Tuesday 1st October at the new trial time of 12:15 for 12:30 (BST).
If you have any queries or have any network authentication questions or maybe have/ideas for service optimisation, join us on Tuesday for dialogue. And - why not take a moment to look at your 'Service Status' on the great eduroam(UK) Support Server: https://support.eduroam.uk/monitor ? All registered sys admins can access the Support web site, your account login will be your e-mail address. You could even check Support server and update us on your sites' information - 'Configure' tab and 'Locations'?
The clinic is free to join and you can participate by voice or chat window. The sessions are an addition to our eduroam support service. We use Adobe Connect for the clinic and in order to access you will require a web browser running the latest Adobe Flash player, an integrated headset and mic or headphones and a built in microphone. The clinic will be open from 12.15PM to allow testing of audio etc and will run from 12.30 to 13.30.
If you would like to participate - no need to register! You can access the clinic on the above date using the following link: https://jisc.adobeconnect.com/eduroam/ Whilst no pre-registration is necessary, please add your name plus organisation in the field ‘name’ when entering the 'room'.
Regards,
Ed Wincott
