Dear Colleagues,
attached I am sending you a vacancy announcement for a *TVL E 13
PhD-position* within the Volkswagen-financed project 'Fiction meets
Science' and the sub-project *'Narrating Science as World-making Activity:
Sea-level Change in Singapore',* located with the research group
'Development and Knowledge Sociology' at the Leibniz-Centre for Tropical
Marine Research and the University of Bremen.
*Deadline for submission: open until position is filled. *
The position comes with 7 to 10 months of field research in Singapore and
would be well suited for candidates with a background in Sociology
(Sociology of Knowledge, Discourse Analysis), Area Studies, Anthropology,
Development Studies, Literature Studies, Human Geography, Postcolonial or
Gender Studies (amongst others).
