Job Title: Data Analyst

Applications are invited for a Data Analyst to work with the Neonatal Data Analysis Unit within the Neonatal Medicine Research Group led by Professor Neena Modi.

Duties and Responsibilities
You will maintain and develop the National Neonatal Research Database and provide data management and analytical support to the work of the Neonatal Data Analysis Unit. The National Neonatal Research Database is a widely used resource for research, bench-marking, quality improvement, and audit, including the National Neonatal Audit Programme.
You will be expected to play a full and active role in the academic life of the Department.
Essential requirements
You will hold a relevant BSc/MSc or equivalent degree and have substantial experience in data management and analyses. Knowledge of statistical software packages and programming is also required. Experience of health services research and health care databases would be highly advantageous.
Further information
This is a full-time, two-year post although applications for the role on a part-time basis will also be considered.
