Hi Elaine,
You would need to make sure that conworx have a drive for the Liats. If they do then you will be able to connect them into conworx without the need for cobas IT 1000. As far as I know Roche have been willing to work with Siemens developing drivers for their devices. Whether it will have all the functionality that you require is another matter.
Check here: it seems that there is a driver for conworx so hopeful for you.

In my experience you don't necessarily have to have all the bells and whistles of connectivity to get the most out of POC flu testing. In the worst case scenario, just getting the results into an EPR or at least, accessible by the IP team goes a long way. In these days of squeezed budgets we have to take what we can get.

Dear all,
I read with interest your recent discussion with POCT flu testing. Did anyone connect their device directly to Conworx (i.e. not using proprietary software)? We are considering connecting Roche Liats direct to Conworx without the requirement of IT 1000.
Thanks, Elaine
