I asked about the OSG rpm. This is what Brian Lin (who produces the rpm)
told me
Our vo-client RPM can be found in our Yum repos, which can be found
here:http://repo.opensciencegrid.org/osg/3.4/el7/release/x86_64/. Note
that "3.4" indicates the OSG release series, which we cycle through
every few years.
Alternatively, the source for our VO configuration is available on
GitHub (https://github.com/opensciencegrid/osg-vo-config) but it's
important to note that the changes aren't tested until they're packaged
in an RPM.
you can either get the rpm or directly parse github, but as he says only
once the rpm is deployed we can be sure the content is tested, then
again we can do sometesting too if we detect some difference in github.
Whatever is easier.
