Dear colleagues,
Please see details of the upcoming workshop on preclinical neuroimage analysis methods in London.
VOXELWISE: Preclinical neuroimage analysis workshop, 23rd & 24th September, The Crick Institute, London.
Website: https://voxelwise.info
Topic: review of state-of-the-art methods for neuroimage analysis in preclinical studies
Aim: to create a stimulating forum where experts in neuroimaging analyses can exchange views and discuss ways to best implement existing methodologies; to improve translation from preclinical to clinical studies; to scope out key challenges and what is missing in preclinical approaches; to discuss new, optimised & multimodal techniques; to publish a set of guidance and establish an online repository of example data, software and information from the workshop.
Brief contents: neuroimaging applications / rodent brain anatomy / imaging templates / multimodal approaches / image registration / diffusion and biophysical models / tractography / morphometry / functional imaging & blood flow / resting state fMRI / deep learning & AI for neuroimaging.
Prerequisites: all are welcome, but the event will be most appropriate for researchers currently engaged in preclinical neuroimage analysis, or those planning to be in the near future. There is no need to be familiar with any particular software or programming language, but for those who are there will be an opportunity to discuss software/scripts/pipelines in more detail during breakout sessions.
Confirmed speakers: Jason Lerch (Oxford, UK), Yohan Yee (Toronto, Canada), Joanes Grandjean (Nijmegen, Holland), Flavio Dell’Acqua (London, UK), Stephen Sawiak (Cambridge, UK), Jorge Cardoso (KCL), Daniel Gutierrez (Istituto Italiano di Technologia), Konstantinos Meletis (Karolinska, Sweden) and others.
Organizers: Diana Cash (KCL), Bernard Siow (Crick), Gary Zhang (UCL) & Bill Crum (Imperial)
