Hi,
I need some expert opinion on the jd-images that are a result of the longitudinal registration.
We did a pairwise registration of the same subjects over time (mouse data) and i noticed in a lot of areas there is a switch in the sign close to the edge of the brain. E.G at the two outmost Voxels inside the brain the JD values are negative, going one voxel further away from the edge they become positive.
So the question for me is, what to trust. Do we have a volume compression at the edge and an increase in volume just a little bit further in, or could it be a glitch in the algorithm at the border.
If anybody can give me a hint, I would appreciate it a lot.
Cheers and thanks,
Wolfgang
