An Introduction to Agile Project Management for Publishing

With a maximum of 20 delegates this course will be highly practical and hands on, with time for exercises, practical sessions and networking with peers and the trainer.
In this focussed one day session learn the background to Agile product delivery and how it can be used successfully in your organization. Become more familiar with the theory and principles that lie behind Agile ways of working and understand the core Scrum framework and its uses. You'll be introduced to, and get to practise, techniques commonly used in Agile product delivery and will receive links to sources of support and further learning. This course is aimed at publishers involved in delivering Agile projects including business stakeholders, product managers, delivery team members, product owners, Scrum Masters, business analysts and project managers.

This is a practical course in which delegates will work in small groups to practice the relevant concepts and learn how to avoid the common pitfalls.
