Dear Colleagues,
After 2 year of coordination of the Observatory on inclusion a rights of
persons with disabilities (Universitą di Reggio Calabria), I am seeking
for new job opportunities.
AS some of you know, I'm into Disability Studies and Law since 2006.
Holding a PhD, after a number of post doc experiences UK, several
publications and conferences, I am now looking for a post into the
areas of Disability studies, Law, sociology or other areas in
humanities where my experiences and efforts can serve the collective
good. I can't relocate myself and I currently live in Italy.
Any suggestion of on-line|remote teaching opportunity or research post?
The good thing of this list is that research on disability and political
claims, as well as personal experiences, march together in a responsive
community. Therefore let me tell you that getting paid to run
disability studies in Italy has proven to be unrealistic the past
year... so, given that I've an international research attitude I felt
that asking for help to the list was good.
I am sorry to bore you, but my experience is just another empirical
evidence of how struggling being a disabled researcher can be in this
western ableist society, isn't it?
Thank you very much for your help
Angelo D. Marra,
PhD
