Dear colleague, consider this an open invite to get involved in the anthropology of tourism activities - and to attend our special meeting at the IUAES inter-congress next week in Poznan.
You are very welcome to attend the business meeting of our commission - to hear about our activities and to suggest more !!
We have an active network: a newsgroup; regional reportings; a twitter feed; lists of resources for teaching and research; plus regular activities - this year we have a number of commission sponsored panels (see below). For the next IUAES congress we would like to have more. Do come along and join us and have your say: WEDNESDAY 28th August - 4pm rm 2.21 Morasko Kampus.
We hope to see you there!
Jonathan
Co-Chairs Antonio Miguel Nogues and Jonathan Skinner
Commission panels:
> Noel Salazar (panel “Solidarity through sport: Contemporary faces of “the gift”?”)
> Jonathan Skinner (panel “Tourism Solidarities: From Self to Other and Anthropology”)
