Dear All
Very good news! I'd like to bring to your attention the first informal call of a FinTech workshop which will be held in Athens in April 2020. This workshop will be in the context of a Horizon 2020 project in FinTech (https://www.fintech-ho2020.eu/). It will bring together academics, practitioners and FinTech companies. A lot of the partners, among them and the coordinator of the project, Paolo Giudici, University of Pavia, are statisticians.
To give you a flavor of the topics, credit risk, networks, big data, machine learning, systemic risk, textual analytics are included.
I will be very glad if anyone from the Finance and Economics SIG would like to participate. Any idea for a special session or a hands-on workshop is more than welcome.
Please do not hesitate to contact me.
Best,Veni
