Postdoctoral post at the Clinical Operational Research Unit, University College London
Salary: £35,328 to £39,353 (Grade 7) inclusive of London Allowance Full-time fixed term contract for 2.5 years
Applications are invited for a full time Research Fellow to work in the UCL Clinical Operational Research Unit (CORU) on the project "CHAMPION" with Dr Sonya Crowe & Professor Christina Pagel. The post is available from 1st November 2019.
In the project we will use data from 5 linked national datasets to address important gaps in the current public reporting of outcomes after surgery for congenital heart disease. This includes developing risk models for post-operative survival in adults and risk adjustment for reporting longer term outcomes by diagnosis.
The responsibilities of the post will include, contributing to the development of statistical models, leading the collation, cleaning and analysis of data and contributing to the preparation of research articles for publication.
This is an exciting research area, with great potential for service impact and several high quality publications.
