in Edinburgh.
*October:*
*4th - Introduction to R *
*An introduction to fundamental R concepts that requires no previous
programming or statistics experience.*
*11th - Programming with R *An introduction to programming elements such as
control flow and function writing in R.
*18th - Introduction to R *
*An introduction to fundamental R concepts that requires no previous
programming or statistics experience.*
*25th - Mastering the Tidyverse *The tidyverse is a coherent system of
packages for data manipulation, exploration and visualisation. Learn how to
manipulate data, reshape data and deal with dates and times efficiently by
looking at packages such as dplyr, tidyr and lubridate.
*November:*
*1st - Advanced Graphics with R *Moving on from R's base graphics,
consideration of how graphics are composed and the excellent ggplot2
package.
*8th - Statistical Modelling with R *Introduction to a number of
introductory statistical routines in the R programming language. Topics
covered include linear regression, hypothesis testing, clustering and
principal components analysis.
