There are a few places remaining on the popular short course ‘Using simulation studies to evaluate statistical methods<https://www.ucl.ac.uk/clinical-trials-and-methodology/education/short-courses/simulation>’.
When: 19–20 September 2019
Where: 90 High Holborn, London
Why: Simulation studies are an important tool for statistical research. They help us to understand the properties of statistical methods and compare different methods. To perform a meaningful simulation study, careful thought needs to be put into the planning, coding, analysis and interpretation. This course gives participants a framework for planning a simulation study, and the tools to conduct and report it.

Further information and registration are on the course website<https://www.ucl.ac.uk/clinical-trials-and-methodology/education/short-courses/simulation>. The course content will be similar to our recent tutorial<https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/sim.8086> – but rather more interactive.
