Hi David
We have a POCT laboratory for AE. We use the Sysmex XN450 which we have had in the last year and compares well with the main lab as we also have Sysmex analysers. However , you will find that usage will increase and I would consider future proofing the plan by getting the next one up from the Sysmex XN450 (forgetting the number) as this would allow you to run 5 to 10 samples at a time especially as usage increases. We are in the processing of swapping out our Sysmex XN 450.
Kind regards

Subject: Sysmex pocH-100i
Hi all
I have recently started in the point of care role at East Surrey hospital and have been asked to build a point of care suite in the A&E department.
They have numerous tests they want solutions for and one is full blood count parameters (specifically total White cell count, haemoglobin and neutrophils).
Our main laboratory have Sysmex analysers and to make things easier I found that Sysmex offer a Sysmex pocH-100i.
Does anyone have experience with this analyser and what are thoughts on it?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Dave Seeruthun
