Hi Theresa,
Our Maternity Assessment Unit, participated in PARROT Study using the Triage. Along with a couple of other hospitals in the Bristol area, they're looking to implement this under Innovation Technology Payment Scheme (ITP) in the not too distant future. (Under the ITP it is possible to purchase the assay at zero cost.) Although we currently have Roche analysers in our Automated Laboratory, partly due to relatively small sample numbers, the point of care option was the preferred option.
We had a helpful meeting with the Quidel representative and support for PLGF implementation under ITP last week.
They're also going to be participating in PARROT 2 using a second Triage device which will look at whether repeat sampling for PlGF can reduce adverse perinatal outcomes in women with suspected pre-eclampsia.
Kind regards,
Kerry

Hi All,
Can I ask if anybody is using the Triage for PlGF?
Our hospital is considering it and I wondered if anybody could share experiences?
Thanks,
Theresa
