ADVERT FOR EXTERNAL EXAMINER 

We are seeking to appoint an External Examiner 

Interested applicants must have experience of external examining in at least one other Higher Education Institution.  

The vacancy is for 

BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy

This is a well-established programme delivered at our Carlisle and Lancaster campuses, with an excellent reputation as a key provider of occupational therapy education within the North-West of England. Our newly revalidated and updated programme will be commencing this September starting for level 4 students, with levels 5 and 6 phased over the following two years during the tenure of this examiner position. We welcome applications from potential external examiners with a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and expertise in theoretical and practice aspects of the profession. 

Please note that we are unable to accept applications from you if:

•	You are a current external examiner within the University of Cumbria or have been in the previous four years, if 
               you have served a four year term with us previously 
•	You are currently professionally involved with members of the programme team
•	You have been employed within the previous five years by the University or at one of its associate institutions.
