Hello everyone,
Brent Museum and Archives are leading a project, Young People’s Heritage, where young people will get the chance to create an exhibition or event, and we’re looking for freelancers to run training sessions with them.
We’ll be holding six training sessions, chosen by participants, from nine options. We are looking for freelancers who would be able to deliver training on the following topics (the others will be covered by in-house staff):
1. Video making
2. Photographing museum objects and artworks
3. Marketing for cultural events
4. Designing for exhibitions, posters, etc.
It would be a 1.5 to 2 hour session, taking place on a Thursday evening, 6-8pm.
The sessions will run on the following dates:
19 September 2019
3 October 2019
17 October 2019
31 October 2019
14 November 2019
28 November 2019
We would be able to offer £200 for the planning and delivery of the session. As the young people will decide which training they want to do, we won’t be able to confirm until nearer the time.
If you are interested, please email Ruth Britt: [log in to unmask] with your CV and a short covering letter including which training you would like to deliver and why you would be suitable. Please include the dates that you would be available.
Please get in touch by 30 August 2019.
Many thanks,
Ruth
