But I think Geoff Maloney is right as well as John Radcliffe. "Turn
the hour," start the hourglass running again from the beginning, as in
John Walker's example the preacher would to make it seem that less
time has passed than really has. I.e., go back in thought to when the
sands of life were just beginning to run out of your hourglass.
