We use U-Shred. We have both the "post box" type bins, and also the bins that are like household waste bins with a lockable lid. I guess you could always use the second type in a secure areas with the lids unlocked so they can be lifted.
U-Shred also handles staples, but not plastic waste for their standard onsite shredding service. it is my understanding that plastic has to be kept separate to avoid contamination for recycling - I doubt you will find a way round this. However I believe a number of companies (U-Shred included) will process mixed waste but it will be a more expensive service as you will effectively be paying them to take the mixed waste offsite and then manually sort it at their secure facility before disposal, rather than just disposing in a one-chamber onsite shredding lorry. Obviously this also introduces additional security requirements in that you will be allowing offsite transport of confidential materials that have not been shredded.
