Estates Project Cataloguer
The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn
12 months fixed term contract
Salary - £28,000
Closing date: Friday 6th September 2019
The main objectives of the post are to appraise, arrange and catalogue to professional standards the extensive collection of modern records relating to the maintenance and letting of the Inn’s estate. Until quite recently this material was held by the department in question but is now being incorporated within the Inn's archives. The postholder will need to be highly self-motivated, flexible and organised in their approach.
The successful candidate will have a postgraduate degree in archives and records management (or similar), experience of cataloguing and excellent IT skills. He / she should have the ability to work independently, meet project deadlines and have excellent attention to detail. Recent graduates with a qualification in archives and records management are welcome to apply.
