Looking forward to seeing those of you who are attending at the ASM in Glasgow this week, and to our session on PGTP on Thursday. For those there on Wednesday, the EDC have a pop-up session on 'Training the Trainer' courses which may be of interest (Wed 3rd July, 1430-1515, Dochart 1):

Subject: ASME AGM

Hi all,

The group has a workshop at the forthcoming AGM in Glasgow. Details below:

Thursday Afternoon Sessions 1635 – 1805

9 Postgraduate Taught Programmes M4

Collaboration in masters programmes: how do we do it and why is it important?

Lead(s): Gill Aitken, Annie Noble

We know that postgraduate study can be transformational to those who undertake it and that the benefits go far beyond the academic award obtained. This is largely due to the discursive approach adopted in the delivery of these programme. We will discuss how this is approached in our own programmes and encourage other to share their own experiences

If anyone would like to get involved in the planning/delivery of the session then please get in touch. We put the proposal in some time ago and don't yet have any firm ideas about how we will run the session.

Thanks,

Gill and Annie
