UWE are seeking an academic with an established profile in the field of media production to join our thriving, innovative course. Applicants should hold a PhD within the broad field of media production or equivalent professional experience, and be able to relate the key aspects of current media production in contemporary culture to teaching contexts. Successful candidates will undertake teaching, assessment and delivery within our BA (Hons) Media and Cultural Production and BA (Hons) Media Culture and Communications programmes. Our programmes help students develop expertise in video, photography and online media informed by existing theoretical debates within media and cultural studies. We are looking for applicants to develop and teach production skills around all these areas, with particular focus on critically engaged practice.
This is a 12 month fixed-term 0.7 appointment.
