Our DCS repository of scans pre-late 2016 have no OCR, are two pages to a page, with little QC. Apologies.
We have been using BL for the last year and a bit, and also Abbyy for any EHESS failures done in-house.
We did a time and motion study last summer IIRC, where we measured how long it takes to bring a PDF up to the full ISO standard, with manual tagging and checking, etc. at the same time we moved the scans to the BL.
Doing every scan in-house to that standard was not feasible, time-wise.
We're going to try again to liaise with our student wellbeing team and get the Module codes only on which students with accessibility requirements are registered, and try to improve on the historical scans we have just for those Modules only. Revisiting the entire repository is out of the question - unless there's a bulk option in Abbyy?
Bottom line from our Accessibility and User Experience Expert was that EHESS was OK if not perfect.
Regards
Kevin
