Good morning!
For years our institution has provided a way for email aliases for LCG
purposes (& many other purposes of course) to resolve to the group of
humans involved - eg [log in to unmask],
lcg-security@ditto, etc. Humans come & go, GOC-DB email alias = constant.
Now our institute is changing to Microsoft Office365 & we need to ensure
that anyone on the planet can still email to the site contact email addrs
registered on the GOC-DB for our site, & reach us.
Someone with the O365 group at our site says they think an O365
"distribution group" will work as that can be enabled so that externals
can send email to it.
Is anyone else on LCG-ROLLOUT using O365 distribution group for GOC-DB
site contact email addrs, & if so any problems with it?
It looks like one simple setting:
Allow people outside my organization to send email to this distribution
group [Yes|No]
If it works (seamlessly), hooray!
