Hi Lara,
Have you changed the standard space image setting? It is generally set
to $FSLDIR/data/standard/MNI152_T1_2mm.nii.gz. Can you confirm that
whatever it is set to exists and is a valid NIFTI file?
The error is suggesting that there is something wrong with either the
fslnvols command, or with the standard space image.
