>>>>"Dear Sirs" - think again!
opsss barbara, you are completely right.
dear all
do you suggest a preliminar linear registration before non-linear, possibily with 6 dof to not scale brains but only align them to ref subject. scaling would be managed later by the non linear one.
moreover, looking at how dartel works, could the last co-registration be a linear one? the non linear one could reduce template peculiarities.
what do you think?
> I select a reference subject REFSUBJ
>>>6 dof linear registration
> I non-linearly coregister each subject to REFSUBJ
> I create an average brain with all these refsubj-transformed images => MEAN_SUBJS
> I non-linearly coregister each subject (also REFSUBJ) to the latter mean image
> I create an average brain with all these refsubj-transformed images => my pediatric template in the REFSUBJ space
NO ....REMOVED.... I non-linearly register this template to the adult MNI_2mm.
>>>I linearly register this template to the adult MNI_2mm.
thanks in advance
Alberto
