LCCM, a specialist HE music college validated by the Open University, is currently recruiting an External Examiner for their post-graduate taught Music provisions.
Awards:
• MMus in Music Production
• MMus in Music Performance
This appointment will be for a period of 4 years and will commence at the start of the 2019/20 academic year.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced EE to have an active relationship with the students, programme team, and institution. Moreover, an ideal candidate will have:
• Relevant higher-level academic and/or professional qualifications or extensive practitioner experience related to music production and performance.
• An understanding of UK HE sector agreed reference points for the maintenance of academic standards and assurance and enhancement of quality;
• Competence and experience relating to designing and operating a variety of assessment tasks appropriate to the subject and operating assessment procedures;
Whilst previous external examining experience would be an advantage, LCCM supports suitably qualified individuals wishing to secure their first post as an external examiner.
