I been caring for a daughter who was born with profound and multiple disabilities for over 35 years, since I adopted her as a baby. In that time we have lived through many changes, developments and some horror stories together. I believe that our saga would be valuable to the community at large and worth recording in a ‘book.’ I use the word ‘book’ for brevity as this would be no top selling Geffrey Archer or Gilly Cooper; perhaps it would be more suited for use by students, researchers etc. in another form. I am in my 70s and poor health so the task is beyond me personally. I am not seeking any financial benefit nor can I offer any payment; but I do have many written records, and seriously believe that our experience would be of benefit to many others.
Would it be at all possible to use your service/organisation to place some form of ‘advert’ for this request to try to reach out as widely as possible? I am happy to be contacted by anybody at all.
