I am looking for the information below for a wide spread of different
countries for a paper I am writing. I would be grateful for any of the
following information you can provide, either in the form of brief
summaries or through directing me to references. All contributions will
be acknowledged.
Which country is this information for:
Types of information required
1. Examples of the use of (learning) technologies in inclusive education
at any level - school, vocational, university, informal learning etc.
2. Examples of the use of assistive technologies in education to
support disabled learners at any level
3. Examples of the use of technologies for supporting distance education
for different groups, including disabled people (people in rural areas
and speakers of other languages)
4. Examples of the use of technologies for differentiated learning for
different groups, including disabled people (people in rural areas and
speakers of other languages)
5. Brief information on the challenges and problems in making
available/using technology to support inclusive education
6. Brief information on the extent to which technology is used in
education in general and to support disabled learners and learners from
other minority/marginalised groups
7. Are there any cultural, infrastructural or other factors specific to
your country which affect how technology is used in inclusive education
and particularly in the education of disabled learners. How is
inclusive education affected by gender, being in a rural area etc?
