The Stanford Center for Biomedical Research (BMIR) studies how acquiring and processing information can improve health and wellness, and enhance biomedical research. As a collaborative team we: develop and evaluate computational methods for biomedical discovery and decision making; enhance clinical care and biomedical research through information management; and integrate research, training, and adoption of information technology in biomedicine.
The Hernandez-Boussard Lab is seeking a Biostatistician 1 to work closely with senior statistician(s) to manage relevant databases as necessary, design studies, devise analysis plan, create analytic files, implement analysis plan and report and publish findings. A key focus of this group’s research is the application of novel methods and tools to large clinical datasets for hypothesis generation, comparative effectiveness research, and the evaluation of quality healthcare delivery.
